Color Tone

The color tone of Linablue HGE is more vivid than that of Linablue A (conventional product). Value “a” of HGE decreased which means the color of Linablue HGE is less greenish than Linablue A. Value”b” of HGE increased which means the color of Linablue HGE is more bluish than Linablue A.

Sample HGE A
L 74.77 73.74

The method to determine the color value

Color Value (10%E618nm) indicates the color density which is measured at 618nm after melted into 10% solution.

  1. Measure 0.25gram of Linablue HGE or AE and melt it into 100ml with citric acid buffer solution adjusted pH6.0 using volumetric flask. All the procedure should be done strictly correct.
  2. Then dilute the solution 10times also with citric acid buffer and measure the absorbance at 618nm using the sell which is 1cm in thickness.
  3. Color Value (10%E618nm) = Absorbance (at 618nm) x 100 / 0.25gram.
